While bartenders, cocktail connoisseurs and all those drink loving earthlings are gathering around for the annual spectacle to kick off today, I wanted to present some of the action with you guys, right here on the blog. What better way to do so than to give the stage to the man himself: meet Timo Janse.
As a price winning bartender and co-creator of The Flying Dutchmen, the 50’s style midtown bar, Timo has served up his fair share of creative blends. During this year’s fifth edition of the Perfect Serve Barshow, you have the chance to see him work his magic and perhaps even tryout a cocktail or two. Perfect Serve will only be in town for 2 days (today and tomorrow!) so make sure to hop on your bikes to Westergasfabriek and experience this amazing event. And in case you’re way too busy for an early drinking session, no worries because Timo was kind enough to share one of his signature cocktail recipes with me! Yes indeed, if you scroll down you can find the recipe for his amazing summer cocktail, that’s named after his bar: the Flying Dutchmen Cocktail. Enjoy!
