Last week my darling colleague Rebecca invited me (and some of my online colleagues) to (an offline) tryout of some lovely dishes at the brand new Le Pain Quotidien in Amsterdam. With a central location, nearly on the front porch of Amsterdam Central Station, their new restaurant is a perfect kickoff for a day trip to Amsterdam or a good cup of coffee (to go) before diving into the city.
Aside of the supercool table setting (including their signature white chocolate paste, customised with our names!) we were offered a selection of their healthy lunch dishes. I wouldn’t call the dishes innovative, but that’s not really what Le Pain Quotidien tries to be. Simple, healthy and fresh food is what makes their menu tasty and in case you’re feeling like a slice (or two) of their (utterly fabulous!) cakes..well honestly you totally should! 🙂 One dish that I have to mention is the Chili Sin Carne, their vegan version of the good old chili dish. As a total carnivore I’d be a tough judge, but boy oh boy..this was beyond delicious! Definitely recommending you all to try it out!
Now before you scroll through some foodporn and click away, trust me when I say you totally wanna scroll all the way down for some cool stuff! 🙂
!!! GIVEAWAY (Dutch translation: WINACTIE) !!!
So brace yourself for something amazing. To celebrate delicious food, Le Pain Quotidien granted me to offer you a healthy/vegan lunch for 2 at your very own LPQ restaurant of choice!!! How amazing, right? 🙂
I will pick a winner and announce the winner on the Dishtales Facebook page this Wednesday (Februari 22, 2017).
